Marvel's Wolverine Story Guide: Team X and Global Locations

An Amnesiac Mutant and Team X

Marvel's Wolverine features an original narrative crafted by Insomniac Games. The game stars Logan, voiced by Liam McIntyre, who is portrayed as an amnesiac mutant searching for his past. To investigate the systematic abduction of displaced mutants, Logan must rejoin Team X, a last-stand mutant task force. This high-stakes mission forces Logan to confront both dangerous new threats and familiar figures from his forgotten history, presenting a gritty, personal story about survival, identity, and mutant solidarity.

From Madripoor to Tokyo: Navigating the Map

Logan's globe-trotting mission takes him through three primary locations: the neon-drenched streets of Madripoor, the snowy wilderness of Canada, and the dense urban sprawl of Tokyo. Rather than a fully seamless open world, the game utilizes larger, explorable hub spaces that connect directly to linear, story-focused missions. This structural design allows players to explore side activities, hunt for secrets, and absorb the atmosphere of iconic Marvel locations while maintaining the tight pacing of a cinematic action-adventure.
