Understanding movement and revamped onboarding

Surviving Hell Let Loose: Vietnam requires mastering the updated movement mechanics. Players can swim through river networks, climb obstacles, fast-crawl to stay low in thick jungle foliage, and drag wounded comrades to cover to heal them. A completely revamped tutorial and onboarding system teaches these controls before you join 50v50 battles. Take the time to learn how movement affects visibility and survival.

Selecting your battlefield unit and role

The game features 17 specialised roles across 6 battlefield units: Command, Infantry, Recon, Armour, Mortar Squad, and the US-only Helicopter unit. Beginners should start with Infantry roles such as Rifleman or Medic. The Medic practises dragging and healing wounded teammates, a core team skill. Communicate with your Squad Leader and follow the Commander’s orders.
