Meet the seven women of AKIBA LOST — and the actors who play them

The ensemble is the game: seven women, seven facets of Akihabara subculture, seven perspectives on the same cold case.

The official cast, at a glance

The official character pages introduce Mitsuha Dan (Ruka Nishiuchi), Kurumi Yotsuya (Riisa Naka), Kotoha Nagareyama (Maria Tani), Shino Kiba (Mei Hata), Natsuki Sho (Anji Rinue), and Mei Yumesaki (Nanase Okai), with Sora played by Rinka Kumada. Each woman embodies a different corner of Akihabara culture, which matters mechanically: their perspectives are your camera angles.

Because ZAPPING swaps you between viewpoints, casting is not decoration here. Riisa Naka bringing mainstream film history to a game cast is the kind of signal that IzanagiGames, with NTV and AX-ON involved, is producing this closer to television than to a visual novel.

Why the ensemble is the mechanic

The thirteen-year-old case connects the modern cast to the six missing girls — the official premise explicitly blurs the line between the actors, their characters, and the historical incident. If the writing keeps those threads taut, the seven perspectives become seven partial truths you assemble yourself; if not, it is a lot of cast to keep straight.

Launch is September 16 on Steam, Switch, and Switch 2 — and the cast pages at akibalost.com are the best pre-release reading.
